A STUDY ON WORSHIP: Especially for those who participate in worship team, but open to all who want to study what worship looks like. The book we will be studying teaches us more about worship by teaching us about the Tabernacle- the place of worship God designed for the Israelites. God said about the Tabernacle, "Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” Come learn what the Tabernacle can teach us about worshiping God today! Led by Bill Burmeister, Suzanne Smith and Geoffrey Hensley.

{2.42} JR. HIGH SMALL GROUP
Lots of people are familiar with the stories of the Bible; Noah, Moses, David, Peter, Paul, and Mary, but how many of us see these things as more than just stories? How are they related to one another? Do they really make a difference in our lives from day to day? This small group is aimed at helping students begin to read their Bible more deeply than they might have in the past. We will be looking at how to ask questions of the text and how stories fit together with one another in the Old and New Testaments. We will also look at how to apply the words of the Bible in our daily, personal reading, and what to do if we don’t understand something we read.
The study is intended for Jr. High students, but the older students are welcome to talk to Joe about attending if they are interested.

PRECEPTS: The Fall, The Flood, The Nations
The book of Genesis--how can we possibly grasp its importance as the foundation of biblical revelation? The Bible without the book of Genesis would be a book with no foundation, no reasons for the teachings which follow that are vital to our faith. As you study chapters 3-11 you will better know your God. You will learn how to view yourself, your world, and your entire life through the truths established in this precious book.” Led by Denise and Tom McKnight.

FOR PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS OR THOSE WHO HELP PARENTS: If you were not around, would your child do the right thing? Often we parent in ways that are behavioral. We create consequences that for a child to do the right thing out of fear of those consequences. But, if you were not around…would they choose to do the right thing? Shepherding A Child's Heart is about how to to speak to the heart of your child.  The things your child does and says flows from the heart.  Luke 6:45 puts it this way, "...out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." (NIV)  Written for parents with children of any age, this insightful book provides perspectives and procedures for shepherding your child's heart into the paths of life. Led by Kenny and Shannon Eads

STEPPING HEAVENWARD: A Book Study for Women and girls over 12. Stepping Heavenward is a novel written in the late 1800’s to teach women to go to the Scriptures to learn how to walk with God and discover the joy of knowing Jesus more fully with a Bible study written more recently taking certain topics from the novel, adding specific Scripture to back up the topics from the novel.  One woman who read the book commented, “ This book was written over 100 years ago, yet I was able to identify with her struggles, her circumstances, her feelings and her failures.”
