Sunday Night Youth Group
Our youth group, named {2:42} meets on Sunday nights from 6-8PM at the church. The Youth Group’s goal in all we do is to build a solid foundation of faith and living based on our commitment to following Jesus. We hope as our teens begin their journey with Jesus, they are able to ask questions and grow together in a way that equips them for living their faith out in their adult lives.
ACTS {2:42} They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
While this verse acts as a foundation for the youth group, the mission statement is:
As we strive to follow Jesus, we tell the story of the gospel by living as a community of believers who live out the values and vision of the Kingdom of God.

•We follow Jesus. It is by his sacrifice that we can live in God’s grace and by his example we know how to live. Everything begins and ends with Jesus.

•We tell the story, the gospel. The good news that Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection offers all a chance at new life is the story we tell.

•We live as a community of believers. We don’t walk this walk alone, but instead we walk it with our brothers and sisters in Christ. The way we love is the way we witness.

•We live as a preview of the Kingdom of God. We are looking forward to the coming of Jesus and God’s Kingdom by living out his values now. This shapes what we do.
The middle school and high school each have their own Sunday school class offered during 1st service.
